Build a lasting legacy in the plumbing, HVAC and electrical fields.

Our vision is to inspire people to discover the prestige, earning power and stability of careers in our industry by being the leading resource for information on careers and training, as well as a source of financial aid. 

You can help us achieve this vision by giving to the foundation in our end of the year appeal.  Our goal is to raise $25,000 that will go towards our new vision of inspiring people to enter the trades.

Be a part of our Giving Club by donating $1,000 during a calendar year.  You can do this as a one-time gift or on a monthly basis.  Just $85 a month will make you a part of the club!  Find out how, here!

To make a monthly donation, click on the donate button, fill out the donation form and enter the monthly amount you would like to contribute.  In the comment section write in that this is a monthly donation.  Your first amount will go through immediately and subsequent monthly donations will come out on the same day each month.

A Message From One Of The Founders

The Nexstar Legacy Foundation started as a dream to provide a channel for people in the home service industry to give back to their community. Businesses in the plumbing, HVACR (heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration) and electrical industries provided funding to start the foundation in 2005. The foundation immediately began to serve the community through its scholarship program, designed to attract talent to these industries. In addition, the foundation continues to focus on fund raising through events and other activities in order to expand its services to the community.
